Basara IIIT Admission 2024 notification has been released by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies – Basara on its official website http://www.rgukt.ac.in. Students who have passed the 10th class exams can check details and apply for TS RGUKT Admission at IIIT admission web portal http://www.admissions.rgukt.ac.in.
RGUKT Basar IIIT Admission – This year, the Telangana State Government issued an admission notification for filling the Integrated B.Tech (RGUKT Basara) seats for the academic year 2024-2024. The 10th class board exam results have also been published on the State Government’s web portal.
Separate admission notifications have been issued after the announcement of 10th-class results. These admission notifications are for admission to various B.Tech courses offered by RGUKT Basara. RGUKT will conduct the counseling and fill up the seats.
The University website www.rgukt.ac.in will contain a detailed prospectus, information about the seat positions, and a fee structure. Basara RGUKT would conduct counseling based on the GPA of the candidates from the SSC results.

Eligibility for TS-RGUKT Admission
Candidates must have passed SSC (10th Class) or an equivalent exam recognized by Governments of Telangana State & AP State. The examinations will be taken in 2024 on the first attempt.
Candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana should have taken 10th class board exams to all categories of seats, except for Global category candidates.
Candidates must not be older than 18 years as of 31/12/2024, while candidates belonging to the SC or ST categories are allowed to apply if they have reached 21 years.
International students must be Indian Nationality/ Persons of Indian Origin/Overseas Citizen of India Card Holders.

RGUKT Basara AdmissionRGUKT Basara shall reserve 85% of all seats for Local Candidates (Telangana State), and 15% shall be unreserved (these seats are filled by both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana students based on merit) according to the Presidential Order 371 ArticleD in accordance with Section 95 of A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014.For students from States other than Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as well as the Children of Indians (all States working in the Gulf Countries), supernumerary seats up to 5% are available under Global Category. The Global Category tuition fee is Rs.1,37,000/annum.International/NRI students have access to 2% supernumerary places. The annual tuition fee is Rs.3,01,000/annum. The tuition fee for Global Category (supernumerary), which is Rs.3,01,000/- per year, will be paid to local candidates.Candidates from Telangana State that wish to apply for Unfilled seats in Global category will be considered in general category. The university will have 1500 seats. IIIT Basra admissions are based upon GPA in 10th-class exams.

Method of Selection:
The merit of the 10th-class GPA or SSC marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry will determine admission. This is subject to the State’s statutory reservations. Applicants who have studied in non-residential Government Schools such as the Zilla Parishad or Municipal Schools will be given a deprivation score to their 10th class Marks. This is done in order to provide weightage for students with socioeconomic challenges in the admission process.
If there is a tie in marks it will be resolved using the following options: a. Higher marks in Mathematics, higher marks in Chemistry, c. Higher marks in Mathematics, b. The next option will not be considered if the tie has been resolved by any of the checks in the chronological order described above.

BASARA IIIT Admission
Based on the 10th grade grades, each year six-year integrated BTech (Inter, two years, BTech, four years) are filled.
Basra boasts a total 1,500 seat capacity.
The number of students with a 10 GPA was less than nine thousand up to 2019.
Their 10 GPA is now over 1.41 lakh. They were awarded grades in the tenth grade based on internal exams.
Academics believe that this year’s final exams should be filled by real talent if there is a GPA grading system.
Varsity officials determined that the 10th-class GPA would be used to fill the vacant seats for each year.

The date of birth is used to determine admissions. If both grades are equal in the 10th grade, the date of the birth is taken into consideration. They can beat them if they are older. If they are equal in age, the random number will be entered using a special formula derived from the number of the ten-hall ticket.
Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies is an educational institution that was established to provide high-quality education for rural students. TIE between 10.20 Grade Students: If there’s a tie between 10.20 and 0.40 grades (for those who are studying in public schools), the mathematics grade will be taken into consideration in the tenth. Next, you will be admitted to Science, English and Social Sciences.
RGUKT Telangana is inviting applications from eligible students to be admitted to the 6 Year Integrated B.Tech Program at RGUKT Basar (Telangana State), for the academic year 2024-2024.
Website will be the last place to submit applications for admission into Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies Basara (RGUKT). A press release stated that the deadline was extended in order to allow more applicants to apply for admissions to the various courses offered by the institution.
Due to delays in Class X results announcements, the extension was also granted. The deadline for applications to be submitted in hard copy remains unchanged. This academic year will see the filling of 1,500 of the various engineering programs. GPA, grades in each subject, and statutory reservations will all be used to determine admissions.
500 seats have been added to RGUKT Basar. The Academic Year 2024-2024 has 1000 seats. All 6 Year Integrated B.Tech Program of RGUKT has received permission from the Government of Telangana State to allow 500 additional intakes to RGUKT. This is in addition to the 1000 intake. After which, the approved intake has increased to 1,500. For this academic year, 1500 applications are being accepted for the 6-Year Integrated Bachelor’s of Technology program at RGUKT Basear (Telangana State).
Eligibility
Students who have passed the SSC or an equivalent examination (10th grade) in 2024 on their first attempt.
Candidates must have passed the SSC (10th Class) or an equivalent exam recognized by Governments of Telangana State & AP State. The examinations will be taken in 2020 on the first attempt.
Candidates must not be older than 18 years as of 31.12.2024, or 21 years for students from the SC and ST categories.

Maximum age: Students must be no older than 18 years (21 for SC/ ST applicants).
Admission Procedure
a GPA merit: Admission to the first year in the Integrated B Tech Program (202-23) will be based upon merit in the Grade Point Average, Grade in each subject in 10th classes and following the statutory restrictions of the State.
0.4 Score shall be added:A deprivation scoring of 0.4, as prescribed by the Government under Statute 13 (3) for the year 2024-23, shall be added to 10th-class GPA of applicants who have studied in nonresidential Government Schools such as the ZillaParishad or Municipal Schools with the objective of giving weightage to socio-economically challenged students in the admission process.
b 85% Tickets:At RGUKT Basar, Admissions to 85% of all available seats will be reserved for Local Candidates (Osmania University, Telangana State).
15% seats: The remaining 15% of seats shall not be reserved (these seats will also be filled by students from both States Telangana & Andhra Pradesh based on merit), as per the Presidential Order 371 ArticleD in accordance with Section 95 of A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014.
Selection Procedure
The previous year admissions were based on merit in 10th grade Grade Point Average (GPA), and grades in each subject.
a) Admissions are based on merit in Grade Point Average (GPA), and grades in each subject. This is in accordance with the Presidential Order 1974. The Government has set a deprivation score (0.4) for applicants to non-residential Government Schools, including Zilla Parishad, Municipal Schools, for 2024-2024. This is to be added to the 10th grade GPA of those from these schools.
NOTE: In accordance with Section 95 of the A.P. Presidential Order 371 Article D, Reorganization Act 2014: 15% of total seats shall be reserved to both Telangana students and Andhra Pradesh student. Selection for these 15% seats will be based on merit.
The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh BSEAP will decide the selection criteria for applicants who have passed the examination. This is in accordance with the admission rules of RGUKT–Basar. BSE-AP announced the results for 10th-class students who took the SSC exams in March/April 2024 without giving grades.
b) If there is a tie in GPA, the issue will be solved by following these steps:
Higher grade in Mathematics
Higher grade in General Science, Iii. Higher grade in English
Higher grade in Social Studies
Higher grades in the 1st language
The older candidate according to the Date of Birth
The lowest random number obtained by the hall ticket number.
If the tie can be resolved using any of the check ins listed above, the next option will not be checked.
c) The procedure for resolving by random numbers is as follows: SSC, NIOS & OSSC applicants will receive the random number as the reminder of 253 x [first five digits] divided by the last five digits. This will allow you to take, for example, the first five numbers, viz., 12191, and the last five, viz. 21028 from your hall ticket number 121921028. 14235 is the reminder.
For applicants to ICSE and CBSE: The Hall ticket consists seven digits. The random number is obtained by dividing the first 3 digits (hall ticket number) by the last 4 numbers (hall ticket number). This will allow you to take, for example, the hall ticket number 4112605 and its first three digits, viz. 411, and last four digits, viz. 2605 into consideration. The reminder number is 2388.
Admissions Counseling
a) The candidates selected for counselling shall report in person at RGUKT – Basar, Nirmal District in Telangana State for verification of original certificates/documents and the details provided in the application form.
b) RGUKT- Basar will conduct admissions counseling and selection of candidates from Special Categories such as Physically Handicapped (PH), Children of Armed Personnel(CAP), NCC, and Sports.
IIIT Courses – Courses offered in 6-Year Integrated Engineering Program: There are two types of 6-Year Integrated Engineering courses:

Admission: After satisfactory scrutiny and verification of the information in the application as well as the original certificates/documents submitted by the candidate to the counselling centre, admission to the 6-Year Integrated Engineering Course in the University will only be granted. Mere selection for counselling and verification of certificates/documents will not guarantee admission to the candidate.
Admissions: The Basara Campus IIIT admissions process will follow 371D. That means that 85% of the seats are reserved for TS students and 15% are open to all Telangana or Andhra Pradesh students.
Annual Fee:
a) Candidates who study in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States Schools pay Rs.37,000/annum. This includes Rs.500/per semester examination fees.
b) Students who meet the eligibility criteria for tuition fee reimbursement according to the guidelines issued by respective State Governments are exempt from paying the tuition fee. (Students whose parents have an annual income below Rs.1.0 lakh in non-SC/ST categories and below Rs.2.0 million for SC/ST categories, and who also fulfill the conditions set forth by the Govt. Fee reimbursement is possible for students who meet the following conditions.
c) Each student must pay a registration fee in the amount of Rs.1,000 (Rs.500/– for SC/ST candidates), a refundable caution deposit in the amount of Rs.2,000 (by everyone), and medical insurance in the amount of Rs. 500/- per annum (by all) for the first two years. This is Rs. 3,500/- (Rs. 3,000/– in case of SC/ST applicants) at admission.

Once you submit your application, the Unique RGUKT App ID (Ex. RGU2020TS..), will be generated to pay the fee.

International Students and Other States
Admission of International Students and Students from Other States: a) Supernumerary Seats up to 5% are available in the Global Category to students who are not citizens of Telangana or the Children of Indians (all States) and live in Gulf Countries.
Merit in the marks/grades received in the 10th Standard Examination will determine admission. Only candidates with a minimum 70% mark are eligible to be admitted.
Notice: The Global Category seats that are not filled (left over the seats of other state candidates), will be given to local candidates by paying Rs.1,37,000/annum.
Students from other countries and Children of Indians who are working in the Gulf Countries pay Rs.1,37,000/annum tuition fees. This includes tuition, exam, mess fees, and lodging.
International/NRI students have access to 2% supernumerary seating.
The tuition fee for international / NRI students runs at Rs.3,01,000/annum
Applicants from the Other States, Children of Indians working in Gulf Countries, International and NRI students seeking admission at RGUKT Basar shall apply through www.admissions.rgukt.ac.in only.
For children of Indians living in Gulf Countries (Global), the application fee is Rs. 250/-.
International and NRI applicants should pay the application fee by Demand Draft, payable to any nationalized bank, drawn in favour Of The Director, RGUKT Basar
International and NRI students can also apply for lateral entry admissions to the 4-Year B.Tech Program. Merit in 12th-standard examination marks/grades will be considered for admission. Candidates who have obtained a minimum 70% mark are eligible to be admitted.
The branch allocations for the 4-Year Lateral Entry Admissions into the 4-Year B.Tech program will be made for the mentioned branches (see 10(b).) Allocations are made purely on merit according to the preferences of the student and subject the availability of seats.
Reservation Rules
a) Local Candidates shall have admission to at least 85% of all available seats. The remaining 15% shall be open to the public as per the Presidential Order 371 Article D. This is in accordance with Section 95 of A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014. (see Annexure-1).

Wherever women candidates are available, a horizontal reservation of 33/3 % of the seats shall be made in favor of them.
Only certificates issued by the State Medical Board are acceptable for PH candidates. Certificates issued by the District Boards for Sports and CAP categories are acceptable.
These reservations can be applied at the State level. All the categories are listed in Annexures.
RGUKT reserves all rights to reject applications from candidates who are not physically fit for the course.
